Japan Day 19 - Shiraishi Island

I got a train from Kurashiki to Kasaoka and then a ferry to my next stop… Shiraishi Island!

I managed to find a really cheap villa on the island, so thought why not? The ferry took half an hour and stopped off at another island. There are 31 Kasaoka Islands in the Seto Inland Sea. Shiraishi is a popular summer destination but I as I am visiting out of season I pretty much had the whole island to myself!

Unfortunately just after arriving the rain and wind started and carried on through the night…
