MURIEL

Various collaborations with band Muriel.

Muriel began as the recording project of songwriter Zak Thomas based in Cardiff, Wales. Over time Zak has been joined by a cast of friends and musicians who have helped him realise his bedroom recordings as fully-formed songs and perform them live, where they take a life on their own as lush, emotive soundscapes packed with pathos.

WALKING JUST TO WALK

Walking Just to Walk is a short film I created for Muriel’s two shows at Chapter Arts Centre in April 2024.

The film was accompanied by a live score by Tom Bromley & Zak that then transitioned into the full live band’s performance.

LIVE AT SIBLING

I filmed two stripped back acoustic live songs for Muriel at Sibling Coffee shop, one inside and one outside. One colour and one Black & White.

The secondary footage was filmed in Brecon Beacons and around Roath Lake.
